Open Auditions for 
PAUL
A musical journey
            
Open auditions will be held Saturday, April 2 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the 
West Rehearsal Room at Playhouse Square. PAUL is an original musical about 
the life of the Apostle Paul. The score by Chuck Myricks covers a broad range of 
styles from gospel to Broadway patter, jazz to R&B. These auditions are for 
understudies and cast replacements for the Cleveland Run at the Hanna Theater 
in Cleveland. The show will have a four week run through April 24. Performances 
will be Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 and Sundays at 3:00 & 7:00 PM. 
 
Those who auditioned in February, need not audition again. Auditioners should 
request an appointment by sending an email to: info at actorssummit.org.  
Auditioners should bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars of a song in 
Gospel, or R & B style. 
 
These are paid positions. Actors of all races and ages are encouraged to 
audition. The ability to sing R & B, jazz, & Gospel will be the critical factor in 
making casting decisions.
 
The Musical Director is Chuck Myricks; the stage director is Neil Thackaberry.
