Hi Clevelanders! The artistic director of a theatre I worked at last summer asked me recently if I knew of any good non-union actors to help fill out their season, and of course I immediately thought of half of Cleveland. Submission information is below.

The theatre conditions are rustic, along the lines of Cleveland Shakespeare, but Door County is absolutely beautiful and you couldn't ask for a nicer place to spend a summer, especially if you enjoy the outdoors and sailing. Unfortunately, I don't know how much they pay their non-union actors, but I know it is a weekly salary. They also provide housing.

If you have questions about the theatre, feel free to email me at tbeckross at yahoo.com and I'll be happy to talk about my experience there.

HA!! Here here Richard. Let another type of "baiting" begin! There =
really are more things to be positive about in all of this, than not. =
Even I am losing sight of that, which would be my only regret, if I were =
someone inclined to have regrets. (please, let's not have a debate on =
whether or not one should have "regrets")

In honor of your request, with my opinions in tact, I hereby publicly =
invite a truce with Mary and anyone else that is, was (or will be) =
offended by these offerings. =20

However, noone should be ashamed of their views, like 'em or not. In =
my opinion, only shame is shameful. =20

I started this movement to promote empowerment. More good news is that =
it appears that some folks don't need my help. Perfect.

So, I will defend my position as long as I feel it is legitimate. =
Without shame. And so should you all.

I interpret all of these opinions as healthy, human, passionate, =
legitimate and though the fur may fly as Mike put it, welcome! I just =
wish that we all had met in the same theater, face to face on Monday, =
rather than in the distant form of communication emails provide.=20

In my experience, it makes a difference. Maybe next time.

Everyone really IS entitled to their opinion. So, the good news is that =
we agree about that................don't we?

Your devoted advocate and Founder of the GOT PAY? Organization.
