The Geauga Lyric Theater Guild announces a second round of auditions for The
Road Home, an original play by local playwright Angela Miloro, winner of the
2004 GLTG Original Script Writing Contest.  The script was also a
semi-finalist in the Stephen Sondheim's "Young Playwrights Festival National
Playwriting Competition."

Open auditions are Monday April 11 from 5:30pm - 7pm at the Geauga Theater
in Chardon, Ohio.

The production will involve three performances only -- June 10, 11, 12.

The Road Home begins as a comedic look at the frustration experienced by art
student, Giselle, who's trying to find a style that her fellow students will
accept as truly "artistic."  As Giselle seeks her own "road home" with the
help of some outrageous characters, she treads the sometimes fine line
between creativity and madness.

The cast includes both modern and anachronistic characters.  Some roles have
been cast.  Still needed are:
Giselle and Gabby (college art students)
Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Gaugin (comedic anachronistic characters)
Bilious (adult male comedic role; the muse of politics and politicians)
Various other male/female college age and adult roles, (some of which will
be doubled up)
