An Evening with the Divine Misters R
Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 8:00 pm
Flutist Judith Elias and pianist Roberta Whitely perform 20th century
composers whose last names begin with the letter R. The repertoire includes
works by Sergei Rachmaninov, Maurice Ravel, Joaquin Rodrigo, Ned Rorem and
Beryl Rubenstein. Vocalist Phyllis Speirs will also be singing In Memoriam
by Cleveland composer James H. Rogers, a cycle of songs of poems by Walt
Whitman, Robert Louis Stevenson and Sir Edwin Arnold. Mezzo Soprano Phyllis
Speirs will also perform In Memoriam by James H. Rogers.
Tickets: $6/General Seating
Reservations: Call the Fine Arts Box Office at (440) 951-6637. Tickets may
also be purchased at the door.
