CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM PRESENTS 'BATTERY'
TO OPEN THEIR 2005 SEASON ON FRIDAY, APRIL 22

On Friday, April 22, convergence-continuum will be coming out of their
winter hiatus to bring audiences another season rife dysfunctional
families, ritual sacrifice, gunshots, and the occasional alien from
another galaxy. But don’t pop your clutch too soon. There’s plenty of
time beforehand for a little electric love story – and shock therapy – in
the season opener, BATTERY, a play by Daniel Therriault directed by
convergence-continuum’s Artistic Director, Clyde Simon.

In BATTERY, we meet Rip, an ace electrician and womanizer. If it’s
electric, it can stop working; and if it can stop working, it can be found
at Rip’s Electric – along with Rip’s short-circuited apprentice, Stan, and
his high-voltage girlfriend, Brandy. Sparks definitely fly.

BATTERY opens Friday, April 22 and runs Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
through May 21 at the Liminis, 2438 Scranton Rd. in Cleveland's historic
Tremont neighborhood. All performances begin at 8 pm. Tickets are $12 for
general admission and $9 for students and seniors. Seating for this
production is limited. For information and reservations, call 216-687-0074
or visit us on the web at http://www.convergence-continuum.org
