North Water Street Gallery

Edwin George, a 71 year old Cherokee Native who resides in Kent, Ohio, is
one of Ohio=B9s premiere folk artists.  He is the recepient of an Ohio Arts
Council Individula Artist Fellowship in 2005.  His work is rich in cultural
heritage as there are symbols and images that directly relate to the
language and customs of the Cherokee people.  It is an honor and privilege
to be allowed to show his work at our North Water Street Gallery.

This event will mark Standing Rock Cultural Arts=B9 fifth annual Earth Day
Exhibition.  Edwin will be also be on hand to tell stories and answer
questions regarding the history and traditional practices of the Cherokee
People. =20
