Cirque du Soil, Extreme Physical Comedy!  Excellent Pay!



Cirque du Soil, The Mud Circus, is seeking 1 male and 1 female performer for
our 2005 Great Lakes Medieval Faire show.

Performers should be comfortable with physical and improvisational comedy.
Acrobatic ability a plus.



8 week contract includes rehearsal period and 6 weekends of performance.

Rehearsals are Tuesday through Sundays beginning June 10th.

Performances are Saturdays and Sundays from July 2nd through August 7th.



Rehearsal pay is $150 per week and performances give the opportunity to make
$500 + per week. Housing is included in contract.



This season "Mud Shows" include: The Tragedy of Muckbeth! Mudshow
Impossible! Shakespeare in the Mud! and The Mud Olympics.



Cirque du Soil's mushows take place in a giant mud pit backed by a
traditional stage.  Pratfalls and hijinx are an integral part of the show.

The Mud Olympics includes a balance beam, hole vault, mini tramp flip off
and a zip line stunt finale.
