[NEohioPAL]Need help with AVID and AVI codecs

I am working with a new editor for my TV series. Before I had used Premiere Pro, but my new editor uses Avid DV Express. The problem is that the DVSoft AVIs I gave him to use do not seem to work in Avid. I was wondering if there is a specific AVI codec that the files need to be in for him to use them. I'd appreciate any help A.S.A.P. THANKS.
