 This summer,Karamu will receive an award celebrating it's contribution to the arts.In a history that spans almost a century,there are many that have contributed to it's greatness,although if you attend the ceremony,you won't know it.
 
 Many who have graced the stages of Karamu will go without proper recognition.Jaqueline C. Thompson,Eva Withers-Evans,Ron O'neal and Minnie Gentry just to name a few.
 
 If your work as an artist means as much to you,as it has to these theatre greats,then you know it is our duty not to let this tragedy go without being corrected.
 
 This is what this is about our business is about......we cannot let that be forgotten.
