The employment dates are June 15-August 16.=20
The productions are:=20
 The Fourposter, The Secret Garden, and La Boheme,=20
as well as a dance concert.

The Stage Manager is responsible for stage management of two productions=20
(musical and dance concert) in a 1,700-seat proscenium house. Ability to rea=
d=20
music is essential. Candidate must be highly organized with proven communica=
tion=20
and leadership skills and an ability to keep the calm in stressful situation=
s.=20
This person must be able to work collaboratively with a professional staff a=
s=20
well as interns and local volunteers. Other responsibilities include assisti=
ng=20
at auditions, taking notes during production meetings and disseminating them=
,=20
publishing rehearsal notes in a timely manner, creating rehearsal schedules=20
(in conjunction with stage directors) along with cast and crew contact sheet=
s,=20
and office/administrative responsibilities before rehearsals start for the=20
season.  There will be an assistant once we are in the theatre. There are=20
rehearsals only 3-4 hours a day leaving an abundance of time for...

The Prop Master  with assistance from the PSM will be responsible for execut=
in
g props and set d=E9cor for three productions (play, musical, opera). This=20
person needs to have good carpentry skills, and experience with furniture an=
d soft=20
goods (upholstery and fabric) is helpful. There is a modestly equipped shop=20
on the premises. Props may be pulled from a large stock, borrowed, built, or=
=20
purchased (within the budget) based on set design specifications. The best=20
candidate will be a self-starter and willing collaborator with great organiz=
ational=20
and communication skills. The prop master must have the ability to work with=
=20
professionals as well as interns and area volunteers. The position reports t=
o=20
the Set Designer and Technical Director, and is responsible for the props=20
budget.

Housing and meals prepared by a local culinary school are provided.

Fee: $2,000 somewhat negotiable.
