Cassidy Theatre will hold auditions for APPLAUSE - winner of 5 Tony Awards including Best Musical.  ALL ROLES ARE OPEN!

Based on the movie "All About Eve", APPLAUSE is a story of ambition, treachery and, ultimately, love. A show that celebrates theatre - and answers the question, "Why do we live this crazy life?" - APPLAUSE!!

PRODUCTION DATES:  September 16 - October 2, 2005
AUDITION DATES:    Sunday, July 10th at 7:30pm
                   Monday, July 11th at 7:30pm

ARTISTIC STAFF:  Michael Mazur, Director
                 Emily Ortolano, Musical Director
                 Jennifer Glowe, Choreographer

NEEDED ARE:  LARGE CAST of
               - Dancers who sing (look 16 to 30)
               - Adult Actors/Actresses for Speaking/Singing Roles
                   (no dancing) who look 30 to 50

AUDITION INFORMATION: Please come prepared to sing a "Broadway Belt" song.  An accompanist will be provided.  Dancers please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to move.
