Just wanted to let everyone know about the fun weekend lined up at the 
Hudson Players' Theater on Oviatt Street in Hudson (opposite the safety 
buildings).  The NE Region of the Ohio Community Theatre Association (OCTA) 
will hold their annual OCTA Fest, where theaters from the Northeast Region 
will present half-hour excerpts of a play from their most recent 
season.  This runs Saturday, July 9 and Sunday July 10.  Each theater hopes 
to be invited to perform at the state level on Labor Day weekend in 
Perrysburg, near Toledo.  But first - the Regionals.

There will be 10 theatres excerpting and here is the official schedule:

Saturday, July 9

7-8:45am Registration
8:45am Announcements

9am Stage Left Theatre Co. of Medina presents:  "Murder on Broadway"

9:55am Stow Players present:  "Monky Business"

10:50am North Canton Playhouse presents:  "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"

11:45am Lunch.......the OCTAfeud competition between theatres (a sort of 
"Family Feud" fun trivia contest) takes place.

1:55pm Announcements

2:05 Galaxy Players of Wadsworth present:  "Red Hot & Cole"

3pm East Cleveland Playhouse presents:  "Days of Wine and Roses"

3:55pm Chagrin Valley Little Theatre presents:  "Over the Tavern"

4:50pm Potter Players Community Theatre of East Liverpool present:  "The 
Jack Tales"

5:45pm Trumbull New Theatre of Warren/Niles present:  "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"

7PM OCTA FEUD FINALS********

Sunday, July 10

9:15am Announcements

9:30am Hudson Players Guild present:  "I Hate Hamlet"

10:20am Workshop Players of Amherst present:  "Jacques Brel is Alive and 
Well and Living in Paris"

1PM Awards Brunch and invitees named to go on to the state conference

Luncheon held at the Hudson Holiday Inn on Rt. 8 (cost is separate from 
theater admission)

Cost of admission to theater excerpts: $21 for one day ($10 for children 12 
and under)
$30 for both days ($15 for children 12 and under)
