Chagrin Valley Little Theatre

Captures 9 Awards at OCTA  Regional and Invited to State OCTA

 for     Over the Tavern

July 11, 2005 :  On Sunday, July 10th in Hudson, Ohio at the 2005 OCTA =
Regional  (Ohio Community Theater Association) Chagrin Valley Little =
Theatre came home with 9 awards for their presentation of Over the =
Tavern, and invited to State OCTA in Toledo, Ohio, Labor Day weekend.=20

OCTA is a service organization for more than 100 community theatres in =
Ohio and adjacent areas of bordering states. Since its formation in =
1953, it has grown to be one of the largest and most successful =
organizations of its kind. With its funding from the Ohio Arts Council, =
donations, dues and proceeds from its many self supporting activities, =
OCTA provides a growing list of services to its member theatres.

Playhouse, Canton, Ohio; Galaxy Players, Wadsworth, Ohio; East Cleveland =
Playhouse, East Cleveland, Ohio; Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, Chagrin, =
Ohio; Potter Players Community Playhouse, East Liverpool, Ohio; Trumbull =
New Theatre, Niles, Ohio; The Hudson Players Guild, Hudson, Ohio and =
Workshop Players, Amherst, Ohio.

Three theaters were invited with a fourth chosen as an alternate.  =
Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, (Over the Tavern); The Hudson Players,  =
(I Hate Hamlet); and Trumbull New Theatre, (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof).  The =
Galaxy Players, (Red, Hot & Cole) were chosen as the alternate.=20
