MRDD Today Logo Contest Opens: July 20, 2005; Contest Deadline: Sept.
16, 2005

Goal: Design a logo for the new  <http://odmrdd.state.oh.us/> Ohio
Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities website
- MRDD Today. The logo will be used on the website and all of its
associated electronic and printed materials.  The mission of ODMRDD is
continuous improvement of the quality of life for Ohio's citizens with
developmental disabilities and their families.

Guidelines: The logo should reflect the essence of the department's
mission using the following specifications.  

*	Entries must be drawn or printed on white paper 81/2 inches by
11 inches. 
*	The logo may include the name of the new website - MRDD Today -
but is not required. 
*	Entries must be no larger than 5 inches by 5 inches and no
smaller than 2 inches by 2 inches. 
*	The logo must be distinguishable in both black and white and in
color. 
*	The design must be legible when reduced to approximately 1 inch
by 1inch (to include any lettering). 
*	If computer generated, entrees must be submitted both on paper
and on floppy disk or CD. 
*	Entries must be free of any copyrighted characters or symbols. 
*	A completed and signed release form must accompany all entries. 
*	The logos on the next page were chosen from several Internet
sites and may be helpful if you need inspiration.
