SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS=20
FOR NEIL SIMON=92S CHAPTER TWO
=20
Solon Center for the Arts is pleased to announce auditions for the opening =
show of their 2005-2006 Theater Season.
=20
Chapter Two, directed by Solon Center for the Arts=92 Director-in-Residence=
Jacqi Loewy, is a bittersweet excerpt from Neil Simon=92s own life =
reflected in the experiences of George Schneider, a writer whose wife has =
recently died. His younger brother Leo tries to rescue him from this =
crushing blow by setting him up on a string of dates that really aren=92t =
helping, until he meets Jennie Malone. It is at this point that George =
finds himself caught between the old life he loved and the exciting new =
road open to him. Coupled with Jennie=92s recent marital extinction, the =
two are subject to a hilarious farce of epic proportions.
*Chapter Two is presented through special arrangements with Samuel French, =
Inc.

Jacqi Loewy returns to SCA having directed last season=92s The World Goes =
=91Round and Crimes of the Heart. Originally from NYC, she is currently =
one of Cleveland=92s busiest theatre professionals (director, actress, =
teacher and stage manager). Jacqi has worked at Playhouse Square, The =
Hanna, Dobama, Cleveland Playhouse, Cleveland Public Theatre, Lyric Opera, =
Carousel Dinner Theatre, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival and is the =
Artistic Director of Charenton Theater Company. She holds a BFA in =
Musical Theater and a Masters in Directing/Acting.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2005 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm =
at Solon Center for the Arts. Please prepare a one or two minute =
monologue. Roles are available for 2 men and 2 women in their 30=92s-40=92=
s. Production dates are October 14-22, 2005.
