CREATIVE KIDS EXPANDED PROGRAM AND OPEN HOUSE

Solon Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the expansion of the =
Creative Kids Program and a Creative Kids Open House on Wednesday, August =
17 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.=20

The Creative Kids expanded program offers a variety of classes for =
toddlers and pre-schoolers. Each class is designed specifically to engage, =
challenge and enrich young creative minds. From Suzuki Violin and Piano =
lessons, Kindermusik, Abrakadoodle, Live! Performances for the Young and =
Young at Heart, to Tunes for Tots, you=92re sure to find a method of =
creative expression for your child.

Visit the Center on Wednesday and see what possibilities exist for you and =
your child to experience the arts! Meet the instructors and participate in =
various demonstrations throughout the evening.

Abrakadoodle class Twoosy Doodlers uses creative materials including =
paint, paper, glue and molding compounds to produce giggles along with =
squiggles from your 20 to 36-month-old. Mini Doodlers for 3-year-olds to =
Kindergarten students helps foster creativity and imagination through the =
use of paints, watercolors, pastels and other creative tools and materials.=

If music strikes your fancy, Tunes for Tots is available for your toddler =
or pre-schooler. You and your child are invited to join instructor Kathy =
Fromson as she plays guitar and leads the class in traditional sing-along =
activities involving bean bags, shakers, bubbles and parachutes. Or =
perhaps a Kindermusik class for your 18-month-old through your 6-year-old! =
Kindermusik has been providing families in Northeast Ohio the time and =
tools to bring the power of music into your home since 1996. Private =
lessons in Suzuki Piano and Suzuki Violin are also available for tiny =
instrumentalists ages 3 and up.=20

Not interested in taking a class but love to be entertained? As part of =
the Live! Performances for the Young and Young at Heart 2005-2006 Season, =
SCA is proud to bring you Marilyn Price, Storyteller and Puppeteer, in =
August; Gemini Twins, Performers, in March; and Michael Offutt, Tall Tales =
and Kitchen Band, in May! This multicultural concert series is specifically=
created with children ages 3-6 in mind.
