If you're expecting to see a traditional comedy, you're in for a big =
surprise. Parallel Lives is anything but traditional.  Parallel Lives =
explores the plight of women and the struggle of the sexes through a =
series of vignettes in which two actresses, Yvonne Pilarczyk and Lisa =
Tarr, each play 12-15 different male and female characters trying to =
cope with modern life. This show is not at all afraid to poke fun at =
such controversial topics as religion, sex, menstruation, death, =
homosexuality, marriage, male-female relationships, stereotypes, and =
family relations.

Just trying to stay out of the actor's way as best I can since they are =
responsible for bringing these characters to life ; I just give them the =
parameters. =20

This is a tour de force for both Vonnie and Lisa and it has been a joy =
to work with them.  The show is playful, irreverent, totally freeform, =
and has an element of the unexpected in every scene.
