GROUNDWORKS DANCETHEATHER RETURNS TO THE HISTORIC AKRON ICEHOUSE SEPTEMBER 16-18 AND SEPTEMBER 23-25
GroundWorks Dancetheater, in partnership with Millworks Gallery Inc., proudly returns to the Akron Icehouse for 6 performances, September 16-18, and September 23-25, 2005. This is the 7th consecutive year for GroundWorks unique concert series at Akrons historic ice storage facility.
GroundWorks 7th Annual Icehouse Series will feature the World Premiere of a new work with acclaimed New York choreographer Keely Garfield and the Akron premiere of Artistic Director David Shimotakaharas Kabila (Tribe). The program will also include At Once There Was House by Dance Alloy Artistic Director Beth Corning. These performances are made possible in part through the generous support of the Akron Community Foundation. GroundWorks is deeply grateful to Icehouse owner Michael Owen and Millworks Gallery Inc. for their continued support.
During the matinee, on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 2:00 pm, University of Akron Dance Institute students will make a special presentation as part of GroundWorks Dance Project 05.

Friday and Saturday evening performances begin at 8pm and the Sunday matinee performance begins at 2pm at the Northside Ice/Coal Factory Complex (The Icehouse), located at 129 North Summit Street between Perkins and Furnace Streets in Akron, Ohio. This is the same home I posted about a week or two ago, but now I have
photos and more info up on the following website:
http://home.earthlink.net/~3333clayton/
Also, the price has dropped to $1,995! Great home for college students to
share for $300 a piece, or for a family. Lots of space...6 bedrooms (5 if
you use the whole attic as a "pad" or 7 if you use the downstairs office as
another bedroom) and 3 whole baths plus one half bath! Also, full basement
with a den and fireplace. 2-car garage.
