The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival will have auditions for this fall's production of Shakespeare's MACBETH on Monday August 29th & Tuesday August 30th , 7:00pm - 9:30pm. Adapted and directed by Dawn Youngs. We are looking for a strong ensemble of five actors with a powerful understanding of Shakespeare's text and excellent movement skills. Auditions will be held at The Cleveland Playhouse Rehearsal Hall C. This is an open call, please provide a headshot/resume if available and prepare one Shakespearean monologue. There will be callbacks Sept. 3rd or 4th, please come with conflict information. Anyone unable to attend the open call may contact the director at dawn.youngs at usa.net <mailto:dawn.youngs at usa.net> to make other arrangements for an audition, please put 'Macbeth' in your subject line.
