Hudson Players Seek Acts for 4th Annual Community Variety Show

The Hudson Players, are currently searching for acts for their 4th Annual
Community Variety Show to be held September 23 & 24. Open auditions will be
held Monday and Tuesday evening, August 29 & 30, at 7 p.m.  Interested acts
are encouraged to attend (although alternative arrangements can be made for
established acts). Please call 330-655-8522 to schedule an audition or for
additional information.

The event promises an evening of great entertainment in the true variety
show tradition. In the past, acts have included singers, dancers, comedians,
bands, storytellers, vaudeville acts and more. Rapidly becoming the Hudson
Players most popular annual event, the variety show is a great night out.
Auditions are open to all.  Established acts are encouraged to participate
as well as first timers.

“It’s a great way for the community to see a variety of entertainment and
for performers to get exposure for the talents,” said Gary Maher, Hudson
Players President. “Plus it’s just a great deal of fun.”

Acts are encouraged to come to auditions (calling ahead to schedule a time
slot is recommended but not required), but alternative arrangements can be
made for more established acts. Please call 330-655-8522 for more

The Hudson Players are one of the areas longest running community theaters
and are members of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce, The Ohio Community
