Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre Presents
THE MEN'S PROJECT: MEN IN MOTION
The female dancer has long been the icon that symbolizes the beauty and
sensuality of dance. Over the course of Cleveland Contemporary Dance
Theatre's 2005-2006 season the company will celebrate the male dancer and
highlight his athleticism, power and strength through dynamic new
contemporary works for Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre set on an
ensemble of 7-10 male dancers.
The Men's Project will present new works for Cleveland Contemporary Dance
Theatre by artistic director Michael Medcalf and Groundworks Dance Theater's
artistic director David Shimotakahara. Chicago-based choreographer Kevin Iega
Jeff will remount "Church of Nations" and Minneapolis based duo Shapiro and
Smith will restage "To Have and To Hold". For both work this will be the
