The Cleveland Theater Collective continues STAGES (Strategic Theater Agenda=20
for Growth Excellence and Success) 2005 and Beyond, to strengthen profession=
al=20
theater in the northeast Ohio region. =20
=20
The Cleveland Theater Collective, with the help of theater artists,=20
producers, and community leaders, is building a larger vision for the theate=
r community=20
in this area. By meeting with theater and community leaders within various=20
disciplines, we hope to create a vision for the future. The discussion=20
generated will help CTC to implement a strategic plan that fosters greater a=
rtistic=20
achievement, increased cooperation, greater attendance, and a community=20
environment conducive to professional theaters and artists that serve our re=
gion. =20
Greg Quinlan, Managing Director for Great Lakes Theater Festival, understand=
s=20
the importance of this process for the community and CTC: =E2=80=9CThe Cleve=
land Theater=20
Collective is poised to be the voice of professional theater in Cleveland,=20
bringing the community together to work towards better success for us all. =20=
Not=20
only will these community discussions spark dialogue and build relationships=
,=20
but the issues and ideas from each session will guide the newly formed board=
=20
as we develop strategy for CTC.=E2=80=9D
=20
=20

Director of Research and Business Practices for the Community Partnership of=
=20
Arts and Culture is moderating the series, which is held on the second Monda=

=20
The remaining schedule is as follows:

=20
The monthly forums, each hosted by a different theater company in the region=
,=20

The results from the process will create a strategic plan for strengthening=20=
the=20
region=E2=80=99s professional theaters and artists by strengthening their=20
relationships with the larger community in which they reside. =20
=20
When asked to participate in this process, Sean Cercone, Artistic Director o=
f=20
Carousel Dinner Theatre, said =E2=80=9CBringing all of our region's theater=20
professionals and institutions together to identify issues that we share as=20=
arts=20
organizations is an important and innovative process.=E2=80=9D =20
=20
The Cleveland Theater Collective supports professional theaters and artists=20
by providing workshop opportunities, artist stipends, unified marketing=20
initiatives, and networking events. CTC is s a non-profit 501c(3) organizati=
on that=20
