Artist Statement and Contact Information
"A Women's Spirituality: In Form and Essence" allows the viewer to =
explore a
very personal group of digital and traditional photographs of more than =
a
dozen women of varying faiths worshipping, praying or meditating. This =
show
is a result of Terry's exploration of her own spirituality, from her
Southern Baptist and bluegrass roots through her current interest in
Shamanism and spirituality through sexuality as an out lesbian.=20

Terry Michelle has been a professional commercial photographer for the =
past
four years but has dedicated her life to artistic forms of release

and healing. As the Art Director for Wild Plum Productions, she =
envisions a
world of artistic opportunity with a license to change our

reality from violence and hate into a community of peace and vision. As =
an
artist, her only hope is that somewhere in the world, someone will be

touched by her spiritual and visual integrity in a profound and =
beautiful
way.=20

=20

"Life, art, and healing are the only true forms of self love and
acceptance." - Terry Michelle, 2005
