I spent a week compiling information and comparison shopping for a murder mystery and have been asked by several people to share my information.  I won't post it here as I don't want to start a war, so please e-mail me directly and I will be happy to forward my report to you.

 

Frankly, I was shocked by some of the producers who responded.  Pushy and rude producers were immediately scratched.  Screaming in BOLD CAPS, "I’M THE BEST!  LOOK NO FURTHER!  PICK ME!” is not the way to win clients.  Some producers were hard to understand as they rambled on and on.  And some could not construct a proper sentence to save their lives.  

 

And now a word of advice; when sending business e-mail, SPELL-CHECK!  It makes you look uneducated and unprofessional to misspell simple words like using YOUR for YOU’RE, but “acomidate?”  If you’re going to use the word, spell it correctly.  (ACCOMMODATE.)  Another pet peeve is answering an e-mail and spelling the client’s name wrong.      

 

The worst example is a man who told me off for not calling him on the phone.  Being pushy is a surefire way to lose business.  I have blocked his address as he is still sending insulting e-mail for not choosing him.  I will not be checking back to NEohioPAL as I have the information I need, so “Mr. Gangster,” please do not contact or respond to me again.

 

Thanks to all the polite and professional producers who responded.  We have chosen a mystery producer and are happy with our choice.  They weren’t the cheapest or the most expensive.  They were polite and professional and they were good SPELLERS!  LOL
