Dear Friends,

I'm excited to tell you about the new radio program on WCLV 104.9 fm
called Chapel, Court & Countryside! The weekly program -- which
debuts this Wednesday, October 19, at 10 pm -- features music from
the past 2 decades of the concert series, "Chapel, Court &
Countryside: Early Music at Harkness."

You'll hear performances (recorded live, in concert) by many of the
leading early music artists of Europe and North America, including:

The Concord Ensemble (male vocal ensemble)
The Baltimore Consort ("broken" consort, specializing in music of the
British Isles & America)
Fretwork (British consort of viols)
Ex Umbris (Renaissance winds, strings, voices)
El Mundo (baroque guitar, violin, harpsichord, etc.)
harpsichordist Mitzi Meyerson
mezzo-soprano Judith Malafronte & harpist Andrew Lawrence-King
soprano Ellen Hargis & lutenist Paul O'Dette
recorder player Marion Verbruggen
Fortune's Wheel (specializing in 15th-century chansons)
and many more!

The radio program celebrates the 20th anniversary of the concert
series. I hope you'll enjoy the radio show and will join us in
Harkness Chapel, on the Case Western Reserve University campus
(across the street from the Frank Gehry building), for concert this
year. We're presenting three -- and offering a discount to all
NEohioPAL subscribers:

"Pipers from Over the Mountains," featuring 15th-century dances &
chansons

February 11 at 7:30 pm
