vanityCrash
says thanks to everyone who made it out to our CD release show at the
HiFi. It was a big smash because of you, our fans. vanityCrash is being
played on WMMS, WCSB, WRUW, WUJC and WBWC. Please call and request your
favorite vanityCrash song! 
 
Upcoming this Thursday, October
20, vanityCrash
will perform at the Hard Rock
Cafe as part of the Fat Tuesday on Thursday Benefit.
This is a 'musicians for musicians' benefit which will feature more
than 10 venues and 30 bands, who are donating their space and talents
to benefit the New Orleans
Musicians Clinic,
a non-profit, New Orleans-based organization that provides
comprehensive health care for musicians. The event is co-organized by
Tri-C JazzFest, Recording Arts & Technology, Crooked River Groove
Records, and Undercurrents. 
 
All musicians are playing for free and most of the venues are donating
a portion of their proceeds. All of the proceeds will go directly to
the New Orleans Musicians Clinic (NOMC). A suggested donation of $10
will give music fans entrance to all venues for the evening. Venues
include 2527 Nightclub, A.J. Rocco's, Blind Pig, Boujetto's Bar &
Grille, Century at the Ritz, Fat Fish Blue, Hard Rock Café, Pirates
Cove, Wilbert's Nightclub, Winking Lizard, and Wish. Check web site for
bands and times.
