Lakewood, OH - The Beck Center for the Arts presents an art exhibit by
children and adults with special needs.  The ninth annual VSA Arts of
Ohio Accessible Expressions Ohio 2005 art exhibit, sponsored by Key
Bank, is free and open to the public from November 1st, 2005 through
January 3rd, 2006 at the Beck Center in the Jean Bulicek Art Galleria.

Accessible Expressions Ohio 2005 is a juried, traveling visual arts
exhibition of 43 artworks by artists with disabilities.  The primary
goal is to provide these artists with opportunities to pursue their art
as a vocation. Most of the exhibited works are for sale with the
proceeds going directly to the artist.   At the end of the 2005 calendar
year, prize-winning pieces will be purchased for the permanent
collection.

About VSA Arts of Ohio

Since 1986, VSAO has provided unique opportunities for artists and
audiences of diverse abilities to share their creativity through
education, accessibility, professional development, and outreach
programs.  Formerly known as Very Special Arts, VSA arts is an affiliate
of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts with primary
funding under an award from the U.S. Department of Education.

About The Beck Center for the Arts

The Beck Center for the Arts is a non-profit, comprehensive cultural and
performing arts organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life
