Weathervane Playhouse will hold open auditions for the third Youth/Family
production of the 2005-2006 season Sophocles=92 Antigone on Monday, Novem=
ber
28 and Tuesday, November 29 between 6-9 p.m. =0D
Please prepare a one-minute, memorized classical monologue from any play
pre-1700. Cold readings will be provided. =0D
PRINCIPAL CAST REQUIREMENTS:=0D
20 Roles (13 young women, 7 young men) available for actors ages 13 - 18.=
 =0D
Director for the production is Suzanne Graham, Suzanne designed the costu=
mes
for Three Days of Rain last season and directed 2000's Stuart Little for
Weathervane's Youth Theater. She is employed by the city of Akron as the
artistic director and producer for the Ingenue Theater Company.=0D
Weathervane Playhouse is committed to non-traditional casting. Except in
cases where race, gender, age, or disability is essential to the play, al=
l
roles will be cast on the basis of talent. Weathervane Playhouse is a
community theater. All performers in all productions are volunteers. For
