The first eight characters are the former students of a Catholic School who
tell the story of their schooldays through a series of flashbacks. Actors
in their 20s or 30s are required for the roles of the students. The priest
and nuns should be older. Focusing on a Catholic elementary and high
school education in the 1950s, this musical comedy manages to tickle the
funny bone of anyone who ever went to school private or public!
All characters sing. All the students have solos, except for Mary. The
priest and the nuns also have solos. In fact, Sister Helen is probably the
most demanding role, musically.
Come with a prepared song, and ready to read from the script. If anyone
has any questions about the show, please contact the director, Oliver
Corrigan - 330-620-9686.
