Matthew James Murphy from Cleveland who has performed on Broadway in RENT has 
been back in Cleveland the past few years persuing a publishing deal with his 
songwriting, and starting his own company that develops young talent. Matthew 
has been working with 15 yr old singer Jami Ross for a year now. Matthew has 
written Jami an album along with developing her singing, piano/guitar playing. 
With great help from her manager Mike Ross, Jami in one year is now playing 
shows at House of Blues, Peabody's,and is lined up to open for many national 
acts this upcoming year. Jami's album will be available at all Borders book

Matthew is always looking for new talent to develop. Matthew is really 
looking for a young guy along the lines of a Jon Mayer/ Dave Matthews I can write 
for, and work with.

Matthew has also been teaching guitar/piano to beginners of all ages for the 
past 2 years. With over 25 students a week Matthew is always looking for more. 
Matthew teaches a non traditional style that really focuses on what the 
STUDENT wants to learn. Matthew does not teach out of a studio, but will come to 
your home to teach. Lessons are one hour/half hour depending on the student. 
Some students go every week, some once a month. Lesson rates vary depending on 
how far away the student lives.
