I wholeheartedly agree.
The Plain Dealer is once again showing their true colors.
Too bad I don't have a canary.

Hi John,
I strongly disagree with your decision to relegate auditions to be listed online only. At most, the audition listing occupied a quarter of the page in the past. That's hardly of phone book magnitude. And if we follow the "logic" that since most people have a computer there's no need to include audition listings in the newspaper, then why do we need to read and subscribe to a newspaper since we can just go online and get the same info? It's a bad move.

Dear Mr. Oswald:
There will be theater listings; the fact that there weren't any in the first issue was simply a production error.
In fact, there is more theater content every week, because Tony Brown is writing a column devoted to local theater. It was our decision, however, that we had to move away from making the magazine like a phone book of listings and add some content for general readers. For that reason, auditions will now be online only.
I hope you'll keep reading each week, and give our new look, and the loads of new content, a chance to win you over.
