CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM WILL OPEN STATES OF SHOCK FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2,
FOR A THREE-WEEK, LIMITED RUN AT THE LIMINIS IN TREMONT

‘Tis the season for peace and goodwill. But at Danny’s family restaurant,
populated by two disgruntled customers and a balance-challenged waitress,
the calm is shattered by sounds of war and destruction. Hostilities
escalate when the Colonel, in full military regalia, walks into the cafe
to the rhythms of two live, on-stage percussionists. The Colonel is
pushing a wheelchair in which sits a damaged young veteran. They have
dropped by the restaurant to celebrate with a nice dessert while the war
continues to rage on -- complete with singing, dancing, flying food, and a
naughty encounter with some clam chowder.

States of Shock is directed by convergence-continuum's Artistic Director
Clyde Simon and features an ensemble cast that includes Lucy
Bredeson-Smith, Geoff Hoffman, Steve Needham, Wes Shofner and Dawn Youngs,
with percussionists Bill Lynn, Dino Osmanbegovic and guitarist Mark K.

States of Shock opens Friday, December 2 and runs Thursdays, Fridays, and
Saturdays through December 17 at the Liminis, 2438 Scranton Rd. in
Cleveland's historic Tremont neighborhood. All performances begin at 8 pm.
Tickets are $12 for general admission and $9 for students and seniors. For
information and reservations, call 216-687-0074 or visit us on the web at
