WEATHERVANE PLAYHOUSE presents
An audience participation comic murder mystery by Mysteries by Moushey
BLACK AND WHITE AND DEAD ALL OVER
(November 1, 2005 Akron, Ohio…For Immediate Release) Weathervane Playhouse takes the “mystery” out of what to do after the last of the turkey has been consumed! The Women’s Board of the Playhouse invites you and your guests to join them on November 26 for an evening of dastardly deeds and comic crime when they sponsor “Black and White and Dead All Over”. The audience participation mystery will be presented by Mysteries by Moushey.
Teams of amateur detectives will witness nefarious acts, search for clues, interrogate suspects, and offer their own solutions to “whodunit.” The color scheme is—what else?—black and white or any combination thereof, so use your imagination when dressing. Prizes will be awarded for costumes as well as Most Creative, Most Outrageous, and Most Clueless solutions to the mystery. Additional prizes will be awarded by drawing from the correct solutions.
Cost of the event is $25 per person which includes the mystery, clue hunt, snacks, soft drinks and beer. The first beer is included with the ticket. Groups of 6-8 get a team discount. Specially created baskets of gifts will be raffled. (Get ahead on your holiday shopping!)
The evening’s schedule:
7:00 p.m. Doors open. Mystery actors mingle in main lobby.
7:30 p.m. Mystery begins in auditorium. General admission seating.
8:30 p.m. Clue hunt begins. Snack buffet opens.
9:15 p.m. Solution is shared. Cast introduced. Prizes awarded.
Black and White and Dead All Over is presented as a fundraiser for the Weathervane Women’s Board on Saturday, November 26, 2005. Charge by phone at Weathervane’s Ticket Office at 330-326-2626. Call between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
