The Arts Education Department at Playhouse Square Center is hosting a
six-day residency with Eitetsu Hayashi, Japan's premier taiko drummer,
January 23-28, 2006. 20 area teens can participate in this residency,
during which they will learn the techniques of taiko drumming and create
a performance piece. On the final day of the residency, the group will
perform at Cuyahoga Community College's Metro Campus.

There is no cost for participation and no prior experience is necessary.
Only the first 20 teens to apply will be accepted. Call 216.348.7912 for
