Weathervane Playhouse Announces

AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT for=20

LEND ME A TENOR

Weathervane Playhouse will hold AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT for the =
hilarious comedy LEND ME A TENOR, Monday and Tuesday, January 9 & 10 =
beginning at 7 p.m. Please call 330-836-2323 for an appointment. =
Auditions will be held at Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane, =
Akron, In the Valley off Merriman Road.

Cast requirements: 4 WOMEN (playing range: 1-20s, 2-30s, 1 older)

4 MEN (playing range: 1-mid 20s - 30s - 50s, 1-20s - 60s)

Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Select your own =
scene. An Italian accent is useful for 3 roles. You may prepare a =
2-minute (or shorter) comedic monologue but it is not necessary. It may =
be from the script.

This production runs March 22 - April 9, 2006.

Director: Nancy Cates, Co-Artistic Director of The Ohio Shakespeare =
Festival.

For Weathervane she directed Gypsy, Two Gentlemen of Verona, =
Communicating Doors, A Man for All Seasons, Blithe Spirit and Over the =
River and Through the Woods.

Weathervane Playhouse is committed to non-traditional casting. Except in =
cases where race, gender, age or disability is essential to the play, =
all roles will be cast on the basis of talent. Weathervane Playhouse is =
a community theater. All performers in all productions are volunteers. =
