Night Kitchen presents "The Death of Frank"

In its latest production, Night Kitchen at Dobama Theatre examines the
choices we make in the face of unavoidable desire. "The Death of
Frank" by Stephen Belber will open February 24, 2006 and run Fridays
and Saturdays at 9 p.m., and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. through March 12,
2006.  There will be no performance on February 26th.

"The Death of Frank" is the story of Peter (played by Cleveland
Heights resident and Case alum Tom White), a young, earnest gardener
with a desire to save the world, and Natalie (Ohio City resident Sadie
Grossman), his odd, jaded sister, who tends to like things that hurt
her.  One of these things is Frank (Joe Milan of Cleveland), an older
guy with a rough edge and shady job description.  Peter's world is
Natalie, so naturally he wants to save her, but he accidentally falls
in love with a linguist named Lynn (Jodi Brinkman of Shaker Heights)
who tries to teach him that there's more to life than one's sister.

Curtain Up said of the show, "The real edge in Belber's work has to do
with [the characters'] predisposition to violence as a way of
expressing, and receiving, love. It's a pathology that plays out
chillingly and with stark emotional contours."
