Karamu's Youth Theatre presents Ed Monk's GOLDILOCKS ON TRIAL January =

There will be a special pre-show of Alex Philips and Hanna Stofan's ten =
minute historical one-act  A THEATRE GROWS IN CLEVELAND for opening day =
of "Goldilocks On Trial" at 1:45pm.

GOLDILOCKS ON TRIAL  by Ed Monk=20
Goldilocks is on trial for breaking and entering. Will she be found =
guilty and sent to prison, or will the truth come out? It's up to Judge =
Wallabee and some very silly jurors to decide after hearing testimony =
from Goldee, the bickering Three Bears, and surprise witness Merwin the =
Big Bad Wolf, among others. (Suitable for the whole family)=20

All Saturday and Sunday shows are @ 2PM. The last show on Sunday, Jan. =
29 will be @ 12 Noon.=20

A THEATRE GROWS IN CLEVELAND by Alex Philips & Hannah Stofan, directed =
by Judy Mazur @ 1:45PM Saturday, January 7th.
The colorful life of Rowena and Russell Jelliffe, Oberlin graduates and =
founders of Playhouse Settlement in 1915 that later relocated and was =
renamed Karamu House in the early 1940s. This ten minute one-act was =
written by two high school students and comes to life through their =
interviews and research. It is suitable for everyone to come and learn =
about the founders of this historical institution who used art for the =
purpose of unity and racial healing.
