SEASON OF REVIVALS TAKES FLIGHT in January 2006 issue of =
NorthernOhioLive Magazine=20

The January 2006 issue of Northern Ohio Live magazine (now in =
bookstores) has a special theatre feature on Karamu's season titled =
SEASON OF REVIVALS TAKES FLIGHT by Faye Sholiton. There are also =
snapshot photos of late Karamu alum Ron "Superfly" 'O Neal directing the =
the 1972 production of Derek Walcott's Dream on Monkey Mountain at =
Karamu, after filming the 70's black classic Superfly.

Below is a brief excerpt from the article by Ms. Sholiton.

"Two relatively "safe" revivals played earlier this season: Neil Simon's =
The Odd Couple and the company's traditional Christmas offering, Black =
Nativity. But this month's opening of George C. Wolfe's brilliantly =
satirical The Colored Museum heralds a new and more exciting phase in =
the celebration. More than an ode to the past, the coming lineup reveals =
what we might expect from Karamu in the next decade."
