324 in the Galleria on January 20th at 5pm as well. Featuring the work
(surprise!) of Bruce Conforti, a widely known artist whose vivid and
powerful abstracts are in museums and private collections all over the
country. A strong color sense and an athletic kineticism characterise
Conforti's work, on canvases from 24 x 24 to 72 x 60. The show is at the
top of the escalator from the heated underground free parking garage at
the Galleria, right in
the middle of the mall, at Gallery 324. Adrienne Younger and George
Kozmon will also have works at the show. Free to the public.
Jean Balbin with have an opening with 16 works displayed in the
Galleria at Erieview on January 20, 2006 at the 324 Gallery. Jean's work
is exceptional, from the Rembrandt-like hooded lighting of "Harris Hawk"
to the after-light of "Ending Storm" to the brilliance of "White Egret". You
can also enjoy her wicked sense of humor in such pieces as "Tiger
Lilies" and "Toad Stools"., all immediately outside Gallery 324 in the
Galleria. Gallery 324 is in the middle of the Galleria at Erieview Mall.
Free parking with validation. Free to the public.
The Fifth Annual Great Lakes Publishing Staff Art Show (Cleveland,
Ohio, and Inside Business Magazines) will be held at the Galleria at
1301East Ninth Street on Friday, January 20th from 5 - 9 pm. There will
be 48 artists, showing between 60 and 100 works for sale. Previous

parking at The Galleria, and the chance to rediscover the Galleria itself.
The Show is in the former Limited and Victoria's Secret space at the
East, or 12th Street, end of the mall. $10 at the door.
Paul St Denis and Mary Deutschman, together with a variety of
prominent Ohio artists such as Alice Kiderman, Walter Allen Rogers Jr.
George Whitten, Jill Hungerford, Billy Nainiger, Vadim Nemirovsky,
Brock Winans, Carl Snyder, Gary Roberts, Marcus Bales, and Omar

the Art Studio, across from Ann Taylor, at the West, or 9th Street, end of
the mall. From stainless steel to glass to oils, watercolors, collage, and
more, this show promises to have a big impact. Free to the public
The Charles Herndon Show, Glacial Erratica will also be running in the
East Palm Court and at Gallery 324. Herndon's strong sculptures are
erotic, powerful, and amusing, sometimes all at once. You can see them
at the East 9th and East 12th street entrances outside, and in the 12th
Street lobby, as well as the East Palm Court and at Gallery 324. Free to
the public.
