volcanic eruptions=97at Oberlin College=92s Finney Chapel on Thursday, =

9, at 7:30 p.m.
	General admission tickets for the stormy weather concert, which=20=

features music by Vivaldi, Rebel, and Rameau, are $20 for adults, $18=20
for seniors 65 or older, and $8 for students. Tickets may be purchased=20=

through Oberlin=92s Central Ticket Service box office, located in the=20
lobby of Hall Auditorium, 67 North Main St. (on Route 58 between the=20
Oberlin Inn and the Allen Art Museum). Box office hours are noon to 5=20
p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 440-775-8169 to order; tickets=20
purchased at the door on the evening of the performance are an=20
additional $2.
	The program includes J.F. Rebel=92s strikingly modern suite, Les=20=

Elemens, which depicts the chaos of creation; La Tempesta di Mare=20
(Storm at Sea) by Vivaldi, with David Greenberg as violin soloist; the=20=

concerto grosso La Follia by Vivaldi (arranged by Jeannette Sorrell AD=20=

=9290, music director of Apollo=92s Fire), with violin soloists Cynthia=20=

Roberts and Julie Andrijeski; Summer from Vivaldi=92s Four Seasons,=20
arranged by Sorrell and featuring her as harpsichord soloist; and the=20
Suite from Les Indes galantes by J.P. Rameau.
	Acclaimed baroque dance specialists Catherine Turocy, artistic=20=

director of the New York Baroque Dance Company, and Carlos Fittante,=20
artistic director of BALAM Dance Theatre in New York, will bring to=20
life the Rameau opera suite, playing various characters from French=20
peasants to Native American Indians.
