Beachwood, Ohio, Wed. Feb. 8, 2006- - The Beachwood Community Theatre
proudly
Presents Seussical, the Musical. This musical, performed by families,
for families,
is 100% family entertainment! For over a decade Beachwood Community
Theatre has provided the opportunity for seasoned, adult performers to
share the stage with their children and young actors to include their
parents in the spot light! In this intergenerational, musical
extravaganza veteran actors share the magic of Dr. Seuss with performers
of all ages. Amy Singleton, professional actress, performed on
Beachwood's stage before 11 year old daughter, Amanda, was born. Now,
Amy shares her passion with Amanda as the Bainbridge pair perform
together. Professional actor, 12 yr. old, Cody Swanson (Played Ralphie,
the title role in Cleveland Playhouse's Christmas Story) is overjoyed
to have his mother, Jean Solomon, (Operations director at BeechBrooke)
share the spotlight, as a citizen of Who Ville. Turrand Evans-Roskos,
sister Hunter and Mother Tracey Evans ( playhouse square performers)
love being on stage together in Beachwood! Several other families
contribute to the cast & production crew!

  Life lessons such as " Anything's Possible" & " A person's
a person no matter how small" - or different - are explored through
up beat songs & some of Seuss's most famous characters. The stage is
set as a pop- up book exploding with color & music! And, of course, the
Cat in the Hat is the M.C. All performances held at Beachwood Middle
School auditorium. Saturday performances feature a Dress Like a Seuss
character Contest. Youngsters attending in costume will have a photo
taken with cast members! This funfilled musical, produced & directed by
Jill Koslen, Musical direction by Annice Schear, Choreography & Vocal
coaching by Sean Szaller - - includes cast members from as far as
Akron, Madison, Chardon, Kirtland, Bainbridge & the far West Side along
with many other neighboring suburbs. This is a must see for the entire
family! And the greatest bargain for quality, family entertainment in
town!
