A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare
Directed by Douglas Farren
Where: Metropolitan Campus Studio Theatre at Cuyahoga Community College,
2900 Community College Ave. Please use entrance #6 at Woodland and 30th for
secure underground parking. 50 cents (2 quarters) required to exit parking
garage.
When: February 10 at 7pm and February 11 at 1pm.
What: All roles are open. Auditions will consist of your choice -
* Performing a prepared Shakespearean monologue
* or
* Reading from the script.
Production Dates: A Midsummer Night's Dream will be performed in the
Metropolitan Campus Studio Theatre at Cuyahoga Community College, 2900
Community College Ave., on April 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15 at 8:00 pm and April 9,
15 at 3:00pm.
The Story: A Midsummer Night's Dream is the most purely romantic of
Shakespeare's comedies. In this pastoral romp characters respond to the
essential capriciousness of young love, and spoofs not only the vagaries of
romance but the nature of reality itself.
