Being born in England and having been involved in theater for 40+ years,=20
you=92d think I=92d know more about Shakespeare, but I don=92t.  I never=
 really=20
know what he=92s saying. For instance, I have seen A Midsummer Night=92s=
 Dream=20
four times before and until last night at the Actors=92 Summit theater I=20
didn=92t really have a clue what was going on. NOW I understand! And it=92=
s=20
funny! I laughed with the best of them; people who have always understood=
=20
the (to me) previously-murky language. I felt quite proud of=20
myself. :-) Thanks, Actors=92 Summit for an absolutely wonderful=
 theatrical=20
experience!

It helps to have a troupe of professionals such as those who performed in=20
this gem. Of particular note are Puck and Bottom (the latter of whom had=20
us falling off our chairs with laughter). Puck is SO graceful and lithe=20
and =85 well, puckish. Her impish demeanor reminds one of a naughty but=20
well-loved child. And the scene where Bottom (Peter Voinovich) is=20
extolling his virtues as an actor is a prime example of comedy at its best.

Kathleen Cutter, Drew Narten, Alicia Kahn, and Noah Varness, as the four=20
would-be lovers entangled in a mistaken identity mess perpetrated by Puck=20
(Sasha Thackaberry), are all consummate actors. They make the play move so=
=20
quickly that it=92s hard to believe it=92s over!

Neil Thackaberry and Sally Groth in the dual roles of Theseus/Hippolyta and=
=20
Oberon/Titania were, of course, excellent. In fact the whole ensemble was=
=20
a joy to watch.

Did I mention the fabulous costumes? And the set? Wow! That set is a=20
masterpiece! I couldn=92t take my eyes off it It=92s different than=
 anything=20
I=92ve seen in any theater and the use of its unique shape is brilliant.

Don=92t miss the chance to see this example of extraordinary theater!
