CALLING ALL ACTORS!
CLEVELAND METROPARKS GARFIELD PARK NATURE CENTER IS
HOSTING A CASTING CALL FOR PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
Let nature and history be your muse for creativity, and lend your talents
to the production of Cleveland Metroparks award-winning programs and events
this year.
Garfield Park Nature Center is currently looking for actors to volunteer
for historical
re-enactment programs. If you have acted on stage before or simply love to
act and are interested in being a member of the acting team, then attend the
casting calls on Saturday, April 22 and Saturday, April 29 between 11 a.m. and 2
p.m. at Garfield Park Nature Center in Garfield Park Reservation in Garfield
Heights.
Actors will be required to recite a memorized 2 to 3 minute monologue.
Performers may also perform a vocal piece at the auditions, however, songs must
be performed a capella, and must be no longer than 2 to 3 minutes.
Photos and resumes are preferred, but not required.
Cleveland Metroparks produces a variety of historical re-enactment
programs and events each year to engage audiences of all ages and familiarize them
with a variety of areas within the Park District, including the annual BugFest
event and the "Escape on the Underground Railroad" program.
Garfield Park Nature Center is located off Mill Creek Lane, off the
Broadway Avenue entrance of Garfield Park Reservation in Garfield Heights.
For more information, call 216-341-3152.
See if you've got what it takes to perform live in Cleveland Metroparks -
part of your life, naturally.
