  Sunday, April 2nd, the feature length emotional disturbance from writer/producer/director Bill Johns wrapped principle photography at the studios of Cinevid Productions in Painesville.
   
  Though editing and FX work has been ongoing since the bulk of shooting was finished in December, the past weekend's shoot marks the end of shooting scenes with actors. "This has been an amazing experience for me", says the Director, "the culmination of a lifelong dream to write and direct feature films." 
   
  Now sound, foley, and music work will continue in earnest so that MADNESS will still meet a mid-May deadline. "My goal is to have it complete for viewing by mid May, but it may not get released right away since that will be up to the strategy planners at the distributor," adds Johns. 
   
  Although distribution is not secured, a rough cut has been making the rounds with some major players in LA and Johns' film is being seen as a template for what is possible to achieve with limited resources and the new inexpensive digital technology.
