Hello Cleveland Acting Community - just wanted to share some news with my
new found compatriots - (that's you!)  Here's a pseudo press release - in
case any of you get a chance to watch the upcoming episodes of Veronica
Mars.  I feel a little odd putting this out there, since no one knows me --
but I gotta tell somebody!

Linda Castro, (that's me!) - a new face in Cleveland, has just wrapped her
second season as the reoccurring character, Mrs. Murphy on UPN's Veronica
Mars

She's been on show since the Pilot, and has filmed about 12 episodes.  Her
most recent episodes are:  'Rapes of Graff',  'Plan B',  and 'I am God',
which are playing this week and next at various times on the UPN station
(Cox and Comcast cable channel 6).  Current schedule:  Sat. 4/8 at 9 pm;
Sunday at 7pm; Tues 4/11 at 9pm; Wed 4/12 at 9pm and Sunday 4/16 at 7pm.
Barring any Cavs or Indians games, those times should be good.

I moved to Cleveland in July, but was lucky enough to finish out the season
on Veronica this past winter.

And, if anyone is even remotely interested in learning from my experience
(I've done lots of other series, like ER, Cold Case, and The Shield) I'm
teaching TV and Film acting classes at the Beck Center (trying to fill the
shoes of the talented Jean Zarzour, who's away doing Menopause, the Musical
tour) - the next session starts April 25th.

Whew - okay - enough self-promo for one posting.
