Cleveland's recent tangles with election results and political scandal are
fertile ground for the show which poses the question; "Why are we still
buying this???" From the black hearts of Hearts of Darkness, "The
Impeachment Show", a showcase of the rampant stupidity, ignorance, and
idiocy that permeates our government.

The undisputed Mecca of underground comedy, the Bassa Vita Lounge is going
big-time with "The Impeachment Show" -- a show marking the beginning of a
new chapter in Cleveland stand-up comedy. This is the show that everyone was
waiting for! If there is a voice welling up inside of you that just wants to
scream out to the world shut up you freakin' idiots! Then come join us, have
a cocktail and let us do the ranting for you.

This politically charged show will feature a congress of the funniest,
edgiest, and most promising Cleveland-area comedians who have been slaying
audiences at Bassa Vita and many other venues for the past few years.  "The
Impeachment Show" will bring them together on the Bassa Vita stage as a show
of comedy force and to raise the voice of change. 

The Hearts of Darkness (Baker and Blanchard) have established itself over
the past few years as an emerging force in local comedy, blending their
brand of brutal comedy and specific themes, into a hilariously toxic brew.
For those people who like their humor on the dark side, a little more rough
and all their sacred cows brought in for the slaughter this is the show for
you.

With its weekly "Grimey Ninety" stand-up and "Tuesdays at Nine" improv
shows, monthly "Detention" sketch comedy, the infamous "So You Think You're
Funny" contest series, and special events produced by Cleveland Yucks,
Hearts of Darkness and A-One Productions -- Bassa Vita has proven it knows
comedy and is ready to take its game to another level.

"The Impeachment Show l" will feature a great lineup of comics, video
shorts, live sketches, and taped messages from local and national politicos.

*       Saturday, April 15th will feature:  Mike Melville, Mike Wypasek,
Marv Connor, Joe Hannum, Mike Baker and Jeff Blanchard. 

Tickets are $5.  Tickets are sold at the door but can be reserved in advance
by calling the club or by logging on to www.hearts-o-darkness.com. The show
begins at 10PM.  21 and older, proper dress required.  For more information

"The Impeachment Show" will feature raw, explicit comedy that is sure to
