Bigfoot took home the third place trophy this weekend at the Appalachian =
film fest in Huntington WV.  Typically I wouldn't be that excited about =
third place, but considering the amount of entries (174) and the caliber =
of the competition this is quite an acomplishment.  The two films that =
finished ahead of us were from LA and NYC and both featured known =
professional actors.  I will say that the judges really liked our actors =
and singled out Liza Foster, Van Jackson, Brooke Beckwith and Wes =
Shofner.  In fact, they really enjoyed our entire ensemble.  They were =
also impressed by our cinematography and editing by Andy Smoley and of =
course, they loved our Bigfoot by David H. Greathouse.  If you get a =
chance to enter this fest next year I say do it.  The people are =
wonderful down there and they treat filmmakers like royalty.  If you =
know anyone from Bigfoot make sure you congratulate them.  They did a =
great job and we couldn't have made such an ambitious and fun film =
without them.
