Brunswick ACT will hold auditions for its summer production of A Slight Case 
of Murder written by Damon Runyon and Howard Lindsay. Auditions are tonight, 
Tuesday, May 2nd and Thursday, May 4th from 7 to 9 PM at the Skyview Lodge, 
336 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH (just south of Mapleside).  Performances will be 
July 21st, 22, 28th, and 29th at the Brunswick High School Performing Arts 
Center. 27 roles need to be filled.  No experience necessary, all roles are 
open.

Below is a list of principal characters with the age range in parenthesis
Remy Marko, ex-racketeer, now a legitimate brewer (40s-50s)
Nora, his wife (30s-50s)
Mary, their daughter (18-30)
Douglass Fairbanks Rosenbloom, an orphan (6-10)
Lefty, Marko’s chauffer, former henchmen (flexible)
Giuseppe, his cook, former henchmen (flexible)
Mike, his butler, former henchmen (flexible)
Chance Whitelaw, Mary’s fiancé (20s)
Commissioner, an important politician (flexible)
Theodore Whitelaw, Chance’s father (40+)
The Singer, a bookie, must play piano and sing (flexible)
Sally, former gun moll, must sing (flexible)
Sad Sam, a bookie (flexible)
Kirk, an ex-jockey (flexible)
Clyde Post, a banker (flexible)
Cal Ritter, a banker (flexible)
