Great Lakes Theater Festival's 2006 Benefit=20

All-Star Shakespeare

Guests will receive the red-carpet treatment during a star-studded event
at the Allen Theatre, Playhouse Square Center to benefit Great Lakes
Theater Festival.

=20

William Shakespeare's greatest characters will gather to revel with
esteemed guests from across Northern Ohio on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at
the Allen Theatre, Playhouse Square Center for All-Star Shakespeare, an
event to benefit Great Lakes Theater Festival. Commencing with
cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at 6:00 p.m., the evening's festivities
feature a robust silent auction, a star-powered cabaret performance by
Tony-nominee Kerry Butler and an out of this world gourmet dinner
complete with dessert buffet catered by Sammy's.=20

=20

"There has been a great deal of interest in All-Star Shakespeare from
the tabloids thus far," said GLTF Benefit Chair, Robyn Barrie in a
recent interview. "The paparazzi have already been spotted throughout
the Theatre District and questions have ranged from 'Will Romeo and
Juliet be in attendance?' to 'What will Lady Macbeth wear?' to 'Will
Cleopatra arrive without Antony?' Anything is possible this year and we
[GLTF] are thrilled to welcome this amazing cast of literary all-stars
to Cleveland to celebrate our [GLTF's] forty-fifth season. The only
sure way to find out the answers to these questions is to join us on
June 24th."

=20

One of the evening's biggest stars, Tony-nominee Kelly Butler, will
shine for Great Lakes Theater Festival in a special, private cabaret
performance. Ms. Butler most recently starred on Broadway as Penny
Pingleton in the acclaimed musical Hairspray. Her other Broadway
credits include the roles of Belle in Beauty and the Best, Eponine in
Les Miserables, and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors.

=20

All-Star Shakespeare's stellar silent auction features over one-hundred
amazing items highlighted by an original Viktor Schrekengost print, all
expense paid trips to New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, a fine array
of oriental rugs and a "walk-on" role on the television hit How I met
Your Mother. Selected items are available for absentee bidding on the
Festival's website at www.greatlakestheater.org
<http://www.greatlakestheater.org/> .=20

=20

Individual tickets for All-Star Shakespeare start at $250. Corporate
tables for the event begin at $3,500. For ticket, reservations or
additional information, call the Great Lakes Theater Festival
Development Office at (216) 241-5490 x325 or visit
